Prodigal Weep, a movement dialogue with Koki Nakano for his new album Ululō. A Nowness premiere .
Inspired by Koki Nakano’s exploration of the dialogue between body and landscape, we chose to craft this choreographic narrative in a limestone quarry—a site of human extraction and emptiness. Art becomes a healing force, transforming absence into substance; Nakano’s music, like a modern Pygmalion, breathes life into the inanimate, momentarily awakening it and celebrating the beauty of the transient and the human condition.
